What Are Our Priorities?
As the White House commits to providing funding for 10,000 Syrian refugees to settle in the United States, the bill that funds the 9/11 World Trade Center Health Program for first responders has expired. The current federal budget proposal allocates $1.1 billion to fund the intake of 70,000 refugees this fiscal year.
