A California Highway Patrol officer was wounded early Friday in an exchange of gunfire with a driver during a traffic stop off the 10 Freeway in West Covina, officials said, reports the Los Angeles Times.The gun battle erupted about 1:40 a.m. near Sunset and Garvey avenues, according to CHP Officer Rodrigo Jimenez.
