VRBPAC Recommends New SARS-CoV-2 Strain for Updated COVID-19 Vaccines

In a unanimous decision, the FDA’s VRBPAC recommended the JN.1 and/or a specific JN.1-lineage strain should be used in the 2025-2026 formula for updated COVID-19 vaccines.
