Doe Run Settles Long-Running Case Over Lead Exposure in Peru

A trial set to begin Tuesday in Missouri against Doe Run and Chairman Ira Rennert would have featured claims by five residents who alleged they suffered lead poisoning from its smelting complex in Peru.
