Luxury retailer taps Walmart CIO amid customer analytics push

Burberry has hired as CIO Fumbi Chima, currently corporate vice president and CIO for Walmart Asia, to oversee the high-end apparel retailer's technology division. The move comes as part of a push to better aggregate and leverage the data its customers generate in its retail stores, as well as online and via mobile devices.
