 A recent study found that on average we check our phones 85 times a day, and most of us don’t even realise we’re doing it. Researchers at Nottingham Trent University asked participants aged between 18 and 33 to estimate how often they checked their devices, then compared it with the data gathered through a monitoring app installed on the phones.
