But make no mistake: Great software is inspired and defined by the human beings who create it. These team members are all too often treated like a commodity and deprioritized during the planning process, to ill effects.
The cost of software engineering talent, first and foremost their salaries, continues to grow and can be rightly seen as an expensive resource.
