IDG Contributor Network: Can Google take on Amazon in the cloud computing battle?

Diane Greene, senior vice president of Google Cloud, recently announced that Google will pull ahead of Amazon as the leader in cloud technology by 2022.Her statement has stirred the proverbial pot. Traditionally, the cloud market has been cornered by Amazon, Microsoft and IBM with Google trailing in market share despite product strength in analytics and machine learning."I actually think we have a huge advantage in our data centers, in our infrastructure, availability, security and how we automa
