Apple yesterday released updated diversity statistics that show how the company's faring against its commitment to increase diversity and inclusion. As a cynic, I'll grudgingly admit that the company's making slow and steady progress; over the past three years, global new hires of female employees rose from 31 percent in 2014 to 35 percent in 2015 and 37 percent this year, according to Apple.
