Texas GOP may distance support for gay 'reparative therapy'

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — The Texas Republican Party is voting to endorse bans on bathroom rights for transgender persons but remove controversial support of so-called "reparative therapy" that seeks to turn gay people straight.
