Scotland's red deer population being brought under control thanks to surge in culling
Scotland's red deer population is starting to be brought under control following record levels of culling, according to an official progress report. The review by Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH) found an "improving picture of deer management" over the past three years, with "marked reductions" in numbers in some regions.
