Sandy Pearlman, produced Clash, Blue Oyster Cult, dead at 72

NEW YORK (AP) — Sandy Pearlman, a pioneering rock critic who later produced and managed Blue Oyster Cult and worked with The Clash, Patti Smith and other punk artists, has died.
