Panel: Deputy known for Mel Gibson arrest was wrongly fired

LOS ANGELES (AP) — The Los Angeles County Civil Service Commission has ruled that the former sheriff's deputy involved in Mel Gibson's 2006 drunken-driving arrest should not have been fired after a different incident.
