Nadal rolls over Nishikori at Indian Wells

World number five Rafael Nadal survived an early attack to defeat Japan's Kei Nishikori 6-4, 6-3 and reach the Indian Wells semi-finals on Friday. "I beat a top 10 player and that is something that is important for my confidence," Nadal said after the win over Nishikori, ranked sixth in the world. Nadal next faces world number one Novak Djokovic who defeated France's Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 7-6 (7/2), 7-6 (7/2).
