Myanmar govt says will 'respect' vote, help 'peaceful' transition

Yangon (AFP) - Myanmar's Information Minister on Wednesday said the government will abide by the outcome of historic elections and smooth the transition of power, as Aung San Suu Kyi's opposition stood on the verge of a landslide.
