Magnitude 6.0 quake rattles Taiwan, triggers some power cuts

A 6.0-magnitude earthquake struck off Taiwan's northeastern coast on Thursday, the island's weather bureau said, shaking buildings and cutting power to around 2,000 buildings.A Reuters witness said the shallow quake shook buildings in the capital, Taipei.The earthquake triggered limited power cuts and forced the suspension of regional railway service in northern Taiwan.
