How Much Bacteria Can Your Kitchen Sponge Really Have?

Researchers at Furtwangen University in Germany analyzed 14 different kitchen sponges and discovered they’re filled with more bacteria than a toilet. They also found regularly cleaned sponges weren’t any cleaner than the ones never cleaned.
