Hezbollah says Badreddine was killed in an attack in Syria
BEIRUT (Reuters) - Lebanon's Hezbollah said top commander Mustafa Badreddine was killed in an attack targeting one of its bases near Damascus airport. The group said in a statement it was working to "define the nature of the explosion and its cause, and whether it was the result of an air strike, or missile (attack) or artillery". It did not say when the attack happened. (Writing by Tom Perry; Editing by Nick Macfie)
