Free climber stranded on Georgia rock face calls 911, prompting dramatic rescue by firefighter
A free climber who called 911 after becoming stranded on a Georgia cliff face was rescued Tuesday by a firefighter who rappelled down to reach him.The climber, who hasn't been identified by authorities, was stuck on the west face of Mount Yonah, a 3,166-foot mountain ridge in the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest in North Georgia.According to White County Public Safety officials, the man called 911 at around 7 p.m. to report that he was unable to safely climb up or down the mountain.Authoriti
