Deadly U.S. rain a '1,000-year event'

The National Weather Service issued a flash flood emergency for Berkeley and Charleston Counties in South Carolina early Sunday. The weather service is expecting, "catastrophic flash flooding." A flash flood emergency is also in effect for Dorchester County.
