Boehner sets House on course to avoid shutdown

WASHINGTON (AP) — As one of his last moves as House Speaker, John Boehner set the House on course to avoid a government shutdown by advancing a stopgap spending measure free of a dispute over Planned Parenthood's taxpayer funding.
