Amtrak train collides with truck near Chicago

An Amtrak train bound for Chicago collided on Friday with a truck that appeared to have gotten stuck on the tracks, US media reports said. The train was traveling from San Antonio, Texas at the time of the collision near the town of Wilmington, about 60 miles (95 kilometers) southwest of Chicago, Amtrak spokesman Marc Magliari told the Chicago Tribune. Amtrak did not immediately return a call from AFP.
