A 16th Republican poised to enter White House race
The field of Republican presidential candidates hits a record 16 Tuesday, with Ohio Governor John Kasich poised to jump into the crowded race for the White House. The list of aspirants for the Republican nomination includes at least four senators, four governors, four former governors, an ex-senator, a former CEO, a retired neurosurgeon and billionaire real estate tycoon Donald Trump, who has taken the lead in the polls. Kasich, 63, was to deliver a speech at around 1500 GMT in Columbus, Ohio.
