Sysco to acquire Brakes Group for $3.1 billion

Sysco, a foodservice distributor, has reached a definitive agreement to acquire Brakes Group, a European foodservice distributor with operations in the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Sweden, Spain, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
