Sumitomo to acquire Fyffes for €751 million

Sumitomo and Fyffes have reached agreement on the terms of a €751 million ($798 million) cash offer by Sumitomo in which Swordus Ireland Holding (Bidco), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sumitomo, will acquire the entire share capital of Fyffes.
