Pennsylvania firefighters open time capsule with items from 1916 and 1967

PHOTOS: Firefighters in Newtown Square staged their own sequel to the movie “National Treasure” recently as they retrieved and opened a decades-old time capsule that had resided in the cornerstone of their old station for over 45 years and contained many items from 1916.In 1965, the company’s original fire station on Newtown Street Road was knocked down and from that wreckage firefighters retrieved a time capsule that was placed there in 1916.
