Michigan firefighters combat cancer with shirts, hats and mustaches

In addition to battling blazes, Dearborn Heights firefighters are hard at work these days trying to snuff out something that hits very close to home for them – cancer.The department has embraced a “Movember” fundraising campaign that encourages mustache growth to raise awareness of men’s health issues.
