Flooded New York firehouse doesn't stop firefighters during storm

VIDEO:Firefighters in Port Jefferson battled heavy rains to get people to safety earlier this week - all while its own firehouse was flooded.
Screenshots shared to Facebook show submerged gear and equipment, estimated to be thousands of dollars in damages.
The department tells News 12 that at no point was its ability to answer emergency calls impacted, and the cleanup process is already underway.
