FASNY sounds alarm as New York leads in fire deaths

A recent house fire in the Capital Region added four more people to the state’s residential fire death toll for 2023.According to a press release from the Firefighters Association of the State of New York (FASNY), in 2017, 2018, and 2019, New York led the nation in fire deaths. The state is presently on track for the same mention in 2023.
