Defense Secretary to Visit Middle East and Europe

Defense Secretary Jim Mattis will travel to Turkey and make his first visit as secretary to Jordan and Kyiv, Ukraine, during a five-day trip to reaffirm the enduring U.S. commitment to strategic partnerships in the Middle East and Europe, Pentagon officials said.
