Work on Labour’s new towns to start by 2029

Work on the first of up to a dozen new towns will begin before the next general election Housing Minister Matthew Pennycook has pledged.
Over 100 proposals have been advanced, reflecting local areas and house builders’ ambition to get on board to build the next generation of new towns.
