Whitby coast to get UK’s first Passivhaus hotel

Leeds-based hotel specialist Silverstone Building Consultancy will project manage the construction of the UK’s first Passivhaus hotel.
Developer Octopi Property appointed the firm to deliver plans to build the 20-bed luxury coastal hotel  at Runswick Bay, near Whitby in North Yorkshire.
The Cliffemount hotel project will involve demolishing an existing 20-bed hotel. Subject to planning consent, construction is due to begin in late Spring 2024.Josh Brown, associate director at Silverst
