Wates wins £53m Grade II London office revamp

International real estate developer Pembroke has signed up Wates to undertake a £53m refurbishment and extension of a grade II listed former bank HQ in London’s square mile.
Wates Construction is returning to the 41 Lothbury site 18 years after completed its original refurbishment.
The 130,000 sq ft office building was originally built to serve as the headquarters for Natwest bank.The Edwardian building features heritage assets including iconic stone columns, an original checkerboard
