Waitrose back to building with bold £1bn store plan

Grocer Waitrose is re-entering to the building market after a six-year long break with a £1bn ‘big bang’ store investment plan over the next three years.
Its bold expansion plan will see the food retailer open 100 new convenience stores and four large supermarkets.
