Vast £500m British Library expansion go-ahead

Joint venture developers Stanhope and Mitsui Fudosan UK have got the thumbs from local planners for an 800,000 sq ft extension to the British Library site near St Pancras in London.
Before the £500m development for the site at the rear of the existing building can proceed the London Mayor will have also to give his final verdict on the plan.
