Utilities contractor turns to Africa for skilled workers

Infrastructure contractor IES Utilities Group has been successfully recruiting staff from Africa due to the severe shortage of overhead lines personnel in the UK.
The Manchester based specialist has welcomed its 100th linesman as part of the initiative which has initially focused on recruiting in South Africa and Zimbabwe.
