Unite to build 800-bed Glasgow student scheme

Unite Students has struck a deal to acquire a new 800-bed student accommodation scheme in central Glasgow, subject to planning.
Planning approval for the £95m development is targeted for the first half of next year, enabling delivery for the 2026/27 academic year.Unite has not named the scheme but it is understood to be part of the High Street goods yard site masterplan in Glasgow.The firm expects to fund the project from capital recycling through disposals.
