Transport ban for demolition firm after load overturns

Specialist contractor Haywood Crushing Demolition Ltd has been banned from transporting machinery for a year after a 45-tonne jaw crusher machine came off a trailer.
The West Midlands Traffic Commissioner heard how the machine fell off as the trailer went round a roundabout and it was “a miracle that no-one was killed or seriously injured’ in the incident in January 2022.
