Tower Hamlets opens bidding on £31m social housing build

London’s Tower Hamlets council has launched the hunt for a main contractor to deliver a £31m social rent new homes project in Bethnal Green.
The council is inviting bids for the Albert Jacob House scheme on Roman Road, designed by Child Graddon Lewis, with construction expected to start in November following contract award.
