Taylor Wimpey site starts sink to 13 in first six months

House builder Taylor Wimpey’s new home completions plunged by over a quarter to 5,120 in the first six months of the year eroding operating margins by 6 percentage points to 14%.
Tightening market conditions and planning system problems saw the number of new sites opened by Taylor Wimpey dwindle to just 13 outlets from 50 in the same period a year ago.
