Taylor Wimpey job cuts loom as £19m cost-cut plan advances

Taylor Wimpey has end consultation with staff on its £19m cost-saving plan as it revealed targetted completion rates were 23% down on last year.
The firm said the plan would cost £8m but not affect existing UK market coverage.
While the firm has not detailed the exact number of redundancies, if they were to track the one fifth fall in forward orders so far this year, job cuts could impact 1,000 staff.
