Swindon groundworks firm files administration notice

House building groundworks specialist Avtar Construction has filed a notice of intention to appoint an administrator.
The Swindon-based civils and groundworks specialist has worked for regional offices of major house builders like Vistry, Persimmon and BarrattRedrow turning over around £20m last year.
The firm, which was set up 16 years ago, works across the south west and employed around 60 staff last year.
