Stonehenge Tunnel and A27 scrapped by Chancellor

Chancellor Rachel Reeves has axed the A303 Stonehenge Tunnel  and the A27 Arundel Bypass scheme in West Sussex in a bid to fix a £22bn black hole in the public finances.
Reeves revealed in Parliament on Monday that the previous government had committed to an overspend of £1.6bn in the transport budget this year.
