Stiffer fines for over-running street works from next Summer

The Government is pressing ahead with a crackdown on late-running street works with stiffer fines and £100m extra to resurface roads from lane rentals fees.New regulations will come into force in summer 2025 following a consultation on the tougher measures to penalise utility companies from letting roadworks overrun.
