Speedy Hire latest to be hit by slow CP7 rail spending

Speedy Hire has become the latest member of the Network Rail supply chain to be hit by slower than expected spending in the current CP7 investment round.
The plant-hire specialist said that the delay in CP7 rail works has “had an impact on trading in the final quarter but remains a significant opportunity for the Group into FY2026.”
