SME contractors agree 4% pay rise for site workers

Employers and unions have agreed a 4% pay rise for construction workers under the Building and Allied Trades Joint Industrial Council (BATJIC) agreement.
The one year will come into effect from Monday 17 June 2024 and workers employed by small builders will also get an extra day of holiday.
