SDM Fabrications files administration notice

Cambridgeshire-based steelwork contractor SDM Fabrications has filed a notice of intention to appoint administrators.
The family-owned firm, which employs around 100 staff, operates mainly across East Anglia and London.
Operating out of a 4 acre site in March, near Peterborough, SDM delivers projects up to 1,500t, with turnover of around £20m.
It has general capacity for the design, detail drawing, fabrication and on site installation of around 6,000t per year and carries out work from sma
