Plans in for Cambridge North major mixed-use scheme

The Chesterton Partnership has submitted plans for a major mixed-use scheme on former railway sidings next to Cambridge North Railway Station.
The development partnership, involving Network Rail, DB Cargo and Brookgate, proposes to build 425 homes and nearly 600,000 sq ft of office, laboratory and retail space on the 17-hectare brownfield site.
Designed by Acme and Make, the Cambridge North scheme is set to create over 2,000 construction jobs during a five-year construction programme.
