Plans in for £75m Southport waterfront events centre

Sefton Council submitted a detailed planning application for its £75m Southport waterfront conference and events centre.
The 1200-seater Marine Lake Events Centre is expected to bring more than half a million visitors to Southport year on year, while generating an annual £18m for the local economy.
