Plans go in for £1bn Northampton city centre overhaul

A £1bn regeneration of Northampton’s long-derelict Greyfriars site has taken a major step forward after plans were formally submitted to West Northamptonshire Council.
Developer ECF is seeking permission for up to 1,220 homes alongside more than 100,000 sq ft of retail, leisure, commercial and community space across the town centre site.
